Good Day with Friends

Anabelle had a good night last night if you don’t count her not being sleepy and staying awake until almost 2 a.m. I didn’t mind because I was still up trying to finish launching yesterday’s blog. I feel she is doing so much better. Her bowels are getting back to a more normal state. I can tell she is more comfortable because she is giving me more smiles and trying to coo more.
I woke up excited this morning. My two best friends from McComb came to visit us today. I met them playing tennis around ten years ago. They brought me groceries and some green nail polish and told me to paint my nails. The vibrant green polish would be a constant reminder that they are with me in spirit. We all went for a stroll with Miss. Anabelle and on the way back we stopped at the corner cafe and got po-boys, and ate al fresco while Anabelle napped in her stroller. We had a good visit taking turns making each other laugh and cry. The weather was perfect. Sunny with a light breeze in the mid seventies. Anabelle is having a good day and so is Maemo.
Ashley had to work all night until 7:30 a.m. again night filming. She was just getting up as my friends were leaving. We had a good visit. She is a comfort to me more than she knows. The baby is so much better today. I only put four
tablespoons of karo in her feeding bag and I’m hoping this is the magic number that allows her to maintain proper balance with her lower GI elimination schedule. Ashley and I spent the evening taking turns holding her and seeing who could make her smile the most.
It’s getting late…11 p.m. and she is wide awake. Right now, she is in her baby swing facing me as I finish writing the blog. I have a ritual I do to get her to go to sleep, but I am saving it for when I finish the blog. She is so cute. I gave her a bath earlier and she is a little sleepy but is fighting it. At least she doesn’t seem to be hurting and for that I am grateful!
